I ragazzi dell'ITET "Marco Polo" guidati dai professori Calogero Gaetani e Patrizia Mannino e dai volontari del Centro Studi Pio La Torre hanno compiuto stamani la prima visita nei luoghi antimafia di Palermo. Prima tappa a Piazza Turba con la visita alla lapide dedicata a Pio La Torre e Rosario Di Salvo e posta nel luogo nel quale furono uccisi il 30 aprile del 1982.

Il giro è poi proseguito soffermandosi in via Isidoro Carini, teatro dell'omicidio del prefetto Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa, il 3 settembre 1982. I ragazzi hanno poi visitato, tra gli altri, i luoghi degli assassinii di Piersanti Mattarella, in via Libertà; del maresciallo Lenin Mancuso in via De Amicis; del magistrato Gaetano Costa, in via Cavour e dell'imprenditore Libero Grassi, ucciso in via Alfieri per il suo rifiuto al pagamento del pizzo preteso dai mafiosi.

Il progetto prevede che i ragazzi dell'ITET Marco Polo realizzino una mappa dei più significativi luoghi dell'antimafia di Palermo, e quelli in cui sono avvenuti i delitti di mafia degli anni '80 e '90. Posti che i ragazzi di Mantova e Ostia, guidati dai colleghi di Palermo, visiteranno il 30 aprile p.v. quando parteciperanno alla manifestazione promossa dal Centro Pio La Torre per ricordare il 37° anniversario dell'uccisione politico-mafiosa di Pio La Torre e Rosario Di Salvo.

The boys of ITET "Marco Polo" visiting the anti-mafia places

The students of the ITET "Marco Polo" led by the teachers Calogero gaetani and Patrizia mannino and volunteers of the Pio La Torre Study Centre made their first visit this morning in the anti-mafia places of Palermo. First stop in Piazza turba with the visit to the plaque dedicated to Pio La Torre and Rosario Di Salvo and placed in the place where they were killed on 30 April 1982. The tour then continued in via Isidoro carini, the scene of the murder of Prefect Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa, on September 3, 1982. The children then visited, among others, the places of the assassinations of Piersanti mattarella, in via Libertà; of the marshal Lenin mancuso in via De amicis; of the magistrate Gaetano Costa, in Via Cavour and the entrepreneur Libero Grassi, killed in Via Alfieri for his refusal to pay the lace demanded by the Mafia. The project foresees that the ITET boys Marco Polo create a map of the most significant places of the antimafia of Palermo, and those in which the crimes of mafia of the 80’s and 90’s took place. Places that the boys from Mantua and Ostia, guided by their colleagues in Palermo, will visit on 30 April p.v. when they participate in the event promoted by the Pio La Torre Center to commemorate the 37 th anniversary of the political killing-Mafia of Pio La Torre and Rosario Di Salvo.
